And as I've established at this point, Bretonnians are a favorite of mine. Morgiana le Fay: Warhammer's equivalent to one of my favorite Arthurian characters, and a (mostly) benevolent sorceress who empowers and aids the people of Bretonnia. And ultimately, he's a cool Dark Elf warrior, which is good enough for me. Malus Darkblade: Aside from the awesome name, I like that he's in a race against time to keep from being fully possessed by the Slaanesh daemon he shares a body with. I also like the irony of how, despite the name, he's actually MORE open-minded and less stupid about grudges than many other Dwarfs. King Thorgrim Grudgebearer: The Dwarf's main leader, and while I slightly prefer Belegar, the Grudgebearer is still a more than worthy bearer of the title of king. Khatep: While technically my least favorite of the Tomb King Legendary Lords, he's still a Tomb King Legendary Lord.which means he's awesome.
I mean admittedly that IS pretty cool, even if its owner is as much of a bastard as any other Skaven. Ikit Claw: While I'm not a big Skaven guy as a rule, if I had to pick a favorite I guess it would be this guy on account of the seriously awesome claw robot arm that can shoot warp lightning.
I can respect an Orc who isn't all brawn and no brain.Įltharion: High Elf, and as I've established at this point, I dig High Elves. Granted, unlike most Tomb Kings he actually IS evil, but he's a cool villain in my opinion.Īzhag the Slaughterer: I mostly just like that he's an Orc who is considered eccentric by the rest, as well as being one of the Greenskin's better tacticians and strategists. Awesome.Īrkhan: I like the Tomb Kings in general, and this guy is as cool as any other. Vlad von Carstein: The original Von Carstein, and still the best one no matter what Mannfred thinks.Īlberic de Bordeleaux: A knight with a trident and general "Poseidon" vibe. Teclis: Both one of the absolute most powerful magic users in the setting, and also one of the nicest, lacking the usual High Elf arrogance. Settra the Imperishable: No other position than the top tier would be appropriate for the mighty pharaoh. Repansse de Lyonesse: Joan of Arc in Warhammer, but with a happier ending. And as I've established at this point, I love Lizardmen to death. Nakai the Wanderer: The ultimate Kroxigor. I also think the two sister's interactions have some decent comedy moments, particularly in how one is very verbose while the other is taciturn. Naestra and Arahan: Mostly for Naestra, a black-haired waifu who unlike most Warhammer Wood Elves isn't a complete asshole. Also like a BIT less awful and more honorable than most other Dark Elves. Luthor Harkon: This should cover it: Malekith: Darth Vader in a Fantasy setting. Lokhir Fellheart: Aside from the fact that his golden kraken helmet and cape make him one of THE coolest looking guys in the entire setting, he's also surprisingly mellow for a Dark Elf, being a fairly benevolent captain who is far LESS gratuitously sadistic and awful than most other Druchii. King Louen Leoncoeur: I love Bretonnia the best out of all the human factions, and Louen is both a (mostly), benevolent king who even listens to the complaints of peasants (who most Bretonnian lords don't care about), AND is also one of humanity's best warriors in the setting.
Khalida: A surprisingly benevolent ruler for a faction that in general is not as evil or malevolent as appearances would suggest. Gor-Rok: Albino Lizardman who is one of their absolute best warriors. While I generally prefer Bretonnia to the Empire by quite a bit, Karl Franz is awesome, and all things considered a pretty reasonable authority figure. Basically, I just think he's the coolest of all the Dwarf Legendary Lords.Įmperor Karl Franz: The man himself. Plus, you know, a cool armored look.īelegar Ironhammer: Awesome name, and I love the concealing helmet. Plus, I like High Elves in general.Īrchaon the Everchosen: The ultimate Big Bad of the setting more or less, and an insanely powerful one-man-army Chaos Champion. I will of course try to do another version of this once III comes out and all of its Legendary Lords are released, but as that's probably at least a year or two out, this will do for now.Īlarielle: One of THE nicest and most moral characters in the setting, which automatically makes her one of the best. A ranking of all the Legendary Lords available in Total War WH II's campaign ranked by me.
